Job Title: Bookkeeper

Job Summary

The Bookkeeper will be responsible for maintaining financial records and establishing, balancing various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of experience and a Secondary (High) School Graduation Certificate. This is a Permanent position with a 40-hour workweek, and the work language is English.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
  • Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
  • Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
  • Post journal entries
  • Prepare other statistical, financial and accounting reports
  • Prepare tax returns
  • Prepare trial balance of books
  • Reconcile accounts
