Job Overview

Canada Post is a leading provider of postal and delivery services, and we're seeking a reliable and customer-focused individual to join our team as a delivery agent.

As a delivery agent, you will be responsible for delivering mail and packages to customers in a timely and efficient manner. This will involve loading and driving a postal vehicle, navigating through various weather conditions, and interacting with customers in a professional and courteous manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sort and prepare mail and packages for delivery
  • Load and drive a postal vehicle to deliver mail and packages to customers
  • Interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
  • Return to the depot to unload mail and packages for later delivery

Requirements

  • A valid Class 5 or Class G driver's license with a safe driving record for at least 3 years
  • The physical ability to lift mail items weighing up to 22.7 kg (50 lb) and carry items weighing up to 15.9 kg (35 lb) regularly throughout the day
  • The ability to work in all types of weather
  • The availability to be on-call
  • The ability to read, write, and speak English and/or French
