About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join our team at APS Metal Industries. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a critical role in maintaining the financial integrity of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Transactions: Prepare and process financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis and provide recommendations to management on financial matters.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with financial regulations and laws.
  • Financial Systems: Maintain and improve financial systems and processes.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in accounting and financial operations.
  • Certifications: Certified General Accountants (CGA) - level 1 or Certified Management Accountants (CMA) - level 1.
  • Skills: Quick Books, MS Excel, MS Word, Internet, MS Windows, and basic security clearance.
