Job Summary
Island Health is seeking a part-time Emergency Medicine Physician to provide locum coverage in Campbell River. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced emergency department environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide part-time locum coverage in the Emergency Department
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver patient-centered care
- Participate in teaching and education opportunities with medical students and residents
- Contribute to the development and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
Requirements
- Eligibility for full licensure with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of BC
- CCFP-EM or FRCPC Emergency Medicine certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
