About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Grocery Clerk to join our team at our Stony Plain Food Store in Stony Plain, AB. As a Grocery Clerk, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store environment, and assisting with inventory management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide prompt and friendly service to customers in the grocery department
  • Stock and face products in the grocery department
  • Maintain a display of products ensuring facing, filling, and organization meet company standards
  • Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of all workspaces
  • Assist with deliveries and pick-ups
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Exceptionally strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills
  • Enthusiastic approach to work
  • Efficient and accurate when working in a busy environment
  • Previous retail experience preferred
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Valid Alberta Driver's License
