About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Cleaning Operations Supervisor to join our team at CCBS Maintenance Ltd. As a key member of our facilities management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and safety of our work sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Oversee the daily activities of our cleaning staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Inspect Sites and Facilities: Conduct regular inspections to ensure that our work sites meet the highest standards of cleanliness and safety.
  • Assist Cleaners in Performing Duties: Provide support and guidance to our cleaning staff as needed, ensuring that they have the resources and training necessary to perform their jobs to the best of their ability.
  • Coordinate Work Activities: Work closely with other departments to ensure that our facilities management operations are running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Develop and implement work schedules that meet the needs of our cleaning staff and ensure that our facilities are properly maintained.
Support for Newcomers and Refugees
  • Foreign Credential Recognition: Support newcomers and refugees in obtaining recognition for their foreign credentials, ensuring that they have the opportunity to contribute their skills and experience to our team.
  • Mentorship Programs: Offer mentorship programs that pair newcomers and refugees with experienced employees, providing them with the support and guidance they need to succeed in their roles.
  • Diversity and Cross-Cultural Training: Provide diversity and cross-cultural training to all employees, creating a welcoming and inclusive work environment for newcomers and refugees.
Support for Indigenous People
  • Mentorship and Coaching: Offer mentorship and coaching opportunities to Indigenous workers, providing them with the support and guidance they need to succeed in their roles.
  • Cultural Competency Training: Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees, creating a welcoming and inclusive work environment for Indigenous workers.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
  • Work Language: English
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week
