Clinical Nurse Specialist


Job Summary

Baycrest Hospital is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our Inpatient Behavioural Neurology Unit. The ideal candidate will possess excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a strong passion for delivering exceptional patient care.


Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary care team.
  • Provide education and support to patients and families on disease management and self-care strategies.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless transitions of care.


Requirements
  • Current registration from the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO) is required.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification is required.
  • Experience working with clients with cognitive impairment/dementia and high-intensity responsive behaviors is preferred.
