Job Title: Dietician

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Dietician to join our team at Health Association Nova Scotia. As a Dietician, you will play a vital role in providing expert nutrition advice and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement personalized nutrition plans for residents with diverse dietary needs and preferences.
  • Conduct thorough assessments of residents' nutritional status and provide recommendations for improvement.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care and support for residents.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest research and developments in nutrition and dietetics to provide evidence-based advice.
  • Communicate effectively with residents, families, and healthcare teams to ensure optimal care and support.

Requirements:

  • University degree in food and nutrition from a recognized university.
  • Current licensure with the Nova Scotia Dietetic Association.
  • 2 or more years of experience in a similar role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
