Job Summary

TECH GUYS CORPORATION is seeking a skilled Computer Network Technician to join our team. As a key member of our IT department, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our computer networks and systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Network Administration: Coordinate access and use of computer networks, install web server hardware and software, and maintain, troubleshoot, and administer LANs, WANs, mainframe networks, and computer workstations and peripheral equipment.
  • Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of computer systems and networks, and troubleshoot, maintain, and upgrade web server hardware and software.
  • Security and Optimization: Implement network traffic and security monitoring software, and optimize server performance.
  • Technical Support: Provide problem-solving services to network users, perform routine network start up and close down, and maintain control records.
  • Data Management: Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations, and supervise technical staff.
Requirements
  • Education: College/CEGEP
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
  • Language: English
  • Hours: 30 hours per week
