The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment and machine tools within the Argus facilities.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this Millwright will be required to work in a machine shop environment completing routine maintenance work, troubleshooting and delivering emergency unscheduled repairs on machines which are not working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete routine maintenance work on equipment and machines, as per the Argus preventative maintenance task sheets and schedules.
  • Deliver maintenance and repair schedules as directed by the Maintenance Supervisors, ensuring quality and customer requirements are met.
  • Read and understand drawings, manuals and specifications to assess machine functionality and assist in making repairs and/or adjustments to machine tools.
  • Advise Maintenance Supervisor or Manager of machine parts and specialty tools to be ordered to keep machines and equipment running.

Requirements:

  • Registered Journeyman Certificate in the Millwright trade.
  • 3+ years' experience operating machine tools or equipment.
  • High school diploma and/or other relevant trade credentials would be an asset.
