Job SummaryWe are looking for a talented Power BI Expert to develop and maintain our BI system, ensuring seamless data integration, dashboard development, and requirements gathering to meet business needs. As a Data Visualization Specialist, you will transform raw data into actionable insights, driving strategic decision-making across the organization.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze and resolve daily Support tickets to ensure timely issue resolution and maintain system uptime.
- Assist in granting and revoking user access to Power BI resources, ensuring role-based security and compliance.
- Conduct regular audits to review and validate user permissions, identifying and rectifying any inconsistencies or unauthorized access.
- Assist in organizing workspaces, reports, and datasets within Power BI to ensure proper access controls and a well-structured environment.

- Consult with business users to create BI solutions from new business initiatives, ensuring seamless integration and adoption.
- Define and document changes to existing business intelligence systems, effectively communicating changes to all users.
- Follow and monitor guidance and governance on standards, templates, and best practices, ensuring consistency and quality.
- Translate technical data into user-friendly language, communicating information and insights to business leaders to adapt business strategies and make strategic decisions.
- Extract data from multiple sources, and program and manage data to allow for the analysis of large data sets.
- Use a combined knowledge of computer science and applications, modelling, statistics, analytics, and math to solve problems, driving business growth and success.
- Sift and analyze data from multiple angles, looking for trends that highlight problems or opportunities, driving business growth and success.
- Participate in discussions to identify opportunities for data-driven improvements and optimizations, driving business growth and success.
- Bachelor's degree in Math, Statistics, or Computer Science, or a combination of education and experience.
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in the development of dashboards utilizing visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Qlik, Microstrategy, or other visualization tools.
- Knowledge of DAX and data models within Power BI, ensuring seamless data integration and analysis.
- Knowledge of SQL, ensuring efficient data extraction and management.
- Experience with Key Performance Indicators, driving business growth and success.
- Strong investigative, innovative thinking, and critical thinking skills, driving business growth and success.
- Ability to multitask and excellent interpersonal skills, ensuring seamless collaboration and communication.
