About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Massage Therapist to join our team at Life Care Planning Ltd. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Consultations: Consult with other healthcare professionals to develop personalized treatment plans for clients, taking into account their unique needs and goals.
  • Massage Techniques: Administer a range of massage techniques, including soft tissue manipulation, relaxation techniques, hydrotherapy, trigger point therapy, and joint mobilizations, to alleviate pain and promote relaxation.
  • Client Education: Clearly explain procedures, risks, and benefits to clients, ensuring they are fully informed and empowered to take an active role in their care.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed records of treatments provided, ensuring seamless communication with other healthcare professionals.
  • Home Care Instructions: Provide clients with personalized home care instructions and information on techniques to promote ongoing wellness and self-care.
Requirements
  • Certification: Hold certification from a provincial or territorial association for massage therapists.
  • Work Environment: Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, with the ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks.
  • Personal Qualities: Possess a strong client focus, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience: Previous experience as a Registered Massage Therapist is an asset.
  • Language: Fluency in English is required.
  • Work Schedule: Work a regular schedule of 30-35 hours per week.
