Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Elementary School Teacher to join our team at Slave Lake Koinonia Christian School. As an Elementary School Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters the academic, social, and emotional growth of our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and train teaching assistants to ensure effective support for students.
  • Assign and correct homework to promote student understanding and progress.
  • Identify individual learning needs and develop targeted plans to support students.
  • Lead students in activities that promote physical, mental, and social development.
  • Prepare and implement remedial programs for students requiring extra help.
  • Prepare subject material according to an approved curriculum and teach students using engaging methods.
