About the Role
AFL is seeking a highly skilled Dispatcher to join our team. As a Dispatcher, you will be responsible for managing workforce schedules effectively in a diverse and inclusive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Dispatch field technicians upon customer request, ensuring timely completion of tasks.
- Monitor daily workload and adjust resource plans as needed to meet customer requirements.
- Coordinate resources and communicate effectively with teams to ensure seamless operations.
- Handle high volumes of inbound and outbound calls, providing exceptional customer service.
- Manage email requests and maintain accurate records of work performed.
- Generate reports for customers, internal use, and billing purposes.
- Contribute to a positive team environment and protect organizational values.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 1+ years' experience in customer service or a high-volume call center environment.
- Previous experience in a dispatch or similar role is an asset.
- Strong communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively handle customer interactions.
Working Conditions
- Currently a work-from-home role, with potential to transition to a normal office environment.
- 40 hours/week, with general 10 hours/4 days a week from 6:00 am to 4:00 pm.
- Eligible for overtime (if applicable).
