About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Machining Tool Operator - CNC Specialist to join our team at Taskmaster Technologies Inc. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating and setting up complex machine tools to perform high-precision machining operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate and set up CNC machine tools to perform repetitive machining operations, ensuring high-quality parts are produced efficiently and effectively.
  • Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments, such as micrometers and calipers, to ensure accuracy and quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance on equipment and machinery to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
  • Enter codes specifying speed, feed, and cut of the toolpath for CNC machine tools, using advanced software and programming skills.
  • Clean and maintain the work space, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Read blueprints and drawings to understand production requirements and ensure accurate part production.
  • Program CNC machine tools to optimize production efficiency and quality.
  • Set up machine tools, such as lathes, milling machines, and grinders, to perform various machining operations.
Requirements
  • Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (WHMIS) Certificate
  • Mastercam CAD/CAM software skills
  • Experience with engine lathes, milling machines, and CNC machines
  • Repetitive machining operation experience, including turning, milling, boring, and drilling
  • Manual dexterity and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask
  • Excellent oral communication and reliability skills
