About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Chef Abod Cafe and Catering. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of our restaurant and catering services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and train staff in various areas of responsibility, including food preparation, service, and sanitation.
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules and ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage.
    • Prepare and submit reports on operational performance and make recommendations for improvement.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
    • Ensure that all customers receive excellent service and that their needs are met.
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
    • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements
  • Education
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience
    • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Language
    • Fluent in English.
  • Work Schedule
    • 30 to 40 hours per week.
