We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Tile Setter to join our team at Palmaster's Tile & Stone. As a leading provider of tile and stone services, we offer a dynamic work environment and competitive compensation package.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for installing and maintaining tile and stone surfaces in residential and commercial settings. This includes preparing surfaces, mixing and applying adhesives, setting tiles, and ensuring a high level of quality and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, repairing, and measuring
- Mix and apply adhesives according to manufacturer's instructions
- Set tiles using a variety of techniques, including hand and power tools
- Cut and fit tiles around obstacles and openings
- Pack grout into joints between tiles and remove excess grout
- Remove and replace cracked or damaged tiles
- Lay and set mosaic tiles to create decorative designs
- College diploma or equivalent in a related field
- 3-5 years of experience as a tile setter
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift heavy materials
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work accurately
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Competitive salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
