Our corporate purpose and guiding principles prioritize putting members first, above all else.
The Position – Branch Manager
As a Branch Manager, you would be responsible for the management of branch operations while ensuring members' financial needs are met. This includes attaining sales goals in members, loans, deposits, and profitability.
- Develop and execute a business unit plan to maximize business growth, share of wallet, and achieve member retention and acquisition objectives.
- Monitor branch performance plans to identify gaps and issues, and develop action plans that close performance gaps and resolve issues.
- Contribute to the achievement of business objectives by conducting sales calls, establishing a personal referral network, and other business development activities.
- Develop and maintain a network in the community to enhance the credit union's visibility and build a strong referral source for new potential business.
- Ensure proper internal controls and risk management procedures are adhered to avoid losses to the credit union.
Key Responsibilities
As a Branch Manager, you will be responsible for:
- Leading a team of banking professionals to achieve sales and service goals.
- Developing and implementing business strategies to drive growth and profitability.
- Monitoring and analyzing branch performance to identify areas for improvement.
- Building and maintaining relationships with members and the community.
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A relevant undergraduate degree with over 4 years of relevant experience.
- Strong business and digital acumen.
- Solid sales management and marketing skills.
- A Personal Financial Planning (PFP) or Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation.
