Job Title: Truck Driver

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Truck Driver to join our team at Sanderling Transport. As a Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials over long distances.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a tractor-trailer combination: Safely drive a tractor-trailer combination to transport goods and materials over long distances.
  • Plan routes: Plan and adjust routes based on changing conditions to minimize fuel consumption and carbon emissions.
  • Load and unload goods: Load and unload goods from the trailer, ensuring that they are properly secured and accounted for.
  • Perform pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections: Conduct regular inspections of the vehicle to ensure that it is in good working condition.
  • Communicate with dispatch: Receive and relay information to central dispatch, including updates on route changes and any issues that may arise.
Requirements:
  • AZ class license: Possess a valid AZ class license and Air Brakes Endorsement.
  • Experience: Have at least 7 months to less than 1 year of experience as a Truck Driver.
  • Education: Have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
Working Conditions:

As a Truck Driver, you will be required to work in a fast-paced environment, often under tight deadlines. You will be responsible for ensuring the safe transportation of goods and materials, and will be required to work in a variety of weather conditions.
