Job SummaryWe are seeking a seasoned Construction Manager to oversee the delivery of high-rise condo projects. The successful candidate will have a strong background in project management, particularly in high-rise, mixed-use, or complex ICI new builds.
Key Responsibilities- Project Oversight: Oversee and mentor Project Managers to ensure timely, on-budget, and high-quality delivery of multiple high-rise condominium projects.
- Design and Subtrade Management: Act as the primary decision-maker on design and subtrade selections, ensuring all construction aligns with project goals and client expectations.
- Leadership and Problem-Solving: Provide hands-on leadership and problem-solving across all stages of development, from pre-construction through project close-out.
- Relationship Management: Manage relationships with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders, making key decisions on procurement and contracts.
- Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate closely with architects, engineers, and designers to align on key design decisions and resolve any design challenges.
- Risk Management: Ensure adherence to safety standards, building codes, and regulatory requirements across all project sites.
- Financial Management: Track project financials and schedules to mitigate risks, ensuring a successful and profitable delivery.
- Reporting and Communication: Report progress and challenges to senior leadership, communicating effectively and suggesting solutions where needed.
- Experience: Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Project Manager on high-rise, mixed-use, or complex ICI new builds.
- Understanding: Strong understanding of the construction lifecycle, from design through project completion.
- Expertise: Expertise in subtrade management, design decisions, and complex project planning.
- Leadership: Leadership experience overseeing multiple large-scale projects simultaneously.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to lead teams and liaise with stakeholders.
- Competitive Salary: A competitive salary in the range of $150,000 - $170,000 with an additional bonus structure.
