About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join the Government of Canada - Central as an Energy Operations Vice-President. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of energy operations strategies and policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement energy operations policies and procedures to ensure the effective management of energy resources.
  • Lead the coordination of energy operations across regions, divisions, or departments to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Establish and maintain financial and administrative controls to ensure the efficient use of energy resources.
  • Formulate and approve promotional campaigns to promote energy efficiency and sustainability.
  • Represent the organization in negotiations and other official functions related to energy operations.
  • Select and develop middle managers, directors, or other executive staff to lead energy operations teams.

Requirements

  • Excellent leadership and management skills to lead energy operations teams.
