SP Constructions is a leading construction company that prides itself on delivering high-quality projects. We are currently seeking an experienced Welding Fabricator Specialist to join our team.

Job Summary

The primary responsibility of this role is to operate welding machines, fabricate and repair metal parts and products, and maintain equipment. In addition to technical skills, the ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, be able to work well in a team environment, and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and quality.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products, adhering to strict quality control standards;
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment to ensure optimal performance;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve project goals, providing assistance as needed and promoting a positive work environment;
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge;
  • Assist with new hire orientation and training to support the integration of newcomers and refugees into the team;
  • Develop awareness training programs for employees to promote a welcoming work environment for youth, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate;
  • Experience: At least 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field;
  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced team environment;
  • Demonstrated proficiency in operating welding machines and equipment;
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • A willingness to learn and adapt to new situations.
