About this Role

MindRight Counselling & Consulting Inc. is seeking a skilled Cognitive Behavioural Specialist to join our team. As aBehavioural Therapist, you will play a vital role in helping individuals achieve more effective personal, social and vocational development and adjustment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide therapy to clients, utilizing evidence-based techniques to address a range of mental health concerns.
  • Counsel individuals and groups to help them overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
  • Develop and implement intervention programs tailored to meet the unique needs of each client.
  • Deliver presentations at conferences, workshops, or symposia to share your expertise and stay up-to-date with industry developments.
  • Conduct mediation, conciliation, and arbitration services to resolve conflicts and promote positive outcomes.
  • Work collaboratively with clients to help them manage physical illness and disorders, and develop healthy coping strategies.

Requirements

  • Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in English and ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
