Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Food and Beverage Server to join our team at Marriott International. As a Food and Beverage Server, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests, ensuring their dining experience is memorable and enjoyable.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve food and beverages to guests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Set tables according to the type of event and service standards.
  • Answer questions about menu selections and communicate with the kitchen regarding menu questions and product availability.
  • Record transactions in the MICROS system and process payments.
  • Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas, china, glass, etc., throughout the day.
  • Complete closing duties, including restocking items and turning off lights.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of related work experience.
  • No supervisory experience required.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and objects weighing in excess of 50 pounds with assistance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a food and beverage role.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
