Reporting to the Director of Facilities, this position is responsible for the supervision and management of mechanical and electrical systems within the School District #57 (Prince George) facilities. The successful candidate will oversee the maintenance and repair of these systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and manage a team of maintenance staff to ensure the efficient operation of mechanical and electrical systems.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
  • Conduct regular inspections of mechanical and electrical systems to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of maintenance activities with other facility operations.
  • Develop and manage budgets for maintenance and repair activities.
Requirements:
  • Post-secondary education in a related field (e.g., mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, facilities management).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory role within a facilities management or maintenance environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing maintenance teams and budgets.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Salary Range: $85,260 to $106,575 & Comprehensive Benefits Package
