At Chatters Salon, we're seeking a skilled Hair Stylist Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our salon, you will be responsible for providing exceptional hair care services to our clients, including cutting and trimming hair, applying bleach and tints, and suggesting hairstyles compatible with their features and preferences.

About the Role

This is a full-time position that requires a minimum of 2 years of experience in the hair styling industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of various hair styling techniques, including blow drying, iron waving/curling, permanents, and roller setting. They will also be proficient in hair colouring techniques, such as bleaching, dyes/tints, frosting, and streaking/highlights.

The successful candidate will be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, handling repetitive tasks with attention to detail. Standing for extended periods is also a requirement for this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide custom hair and scalp treatment to clients
  • Cut and trim hair according to client's instructions or preferences
  • Apply bleach, tints, dyes, or rinses to colour, frost, or streak hair
  • Suggest hairstyles compatible with client's physical features and preferences
  • Work with other stylists to ensure seamless service delivery
