At Aon, we are seeking an experienced Retirement Associate to join our team specializing in post-retirement and post-employment insurance plans actuarial valuations and assumptions setting for those plans.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or someone looking to gain experience in the field of actuarial science. The successful candidate will participate in the establishment of assumptions for actuarial valuations specific to post-retirement and employment insurance plans (commonly called "Other post-employment benefits" or "OPEB") for Canada.

You will be responsible for the preparation and delivery of OPEB-specific actuarial valuations for a complex group of clients in Canada including:

  • Data reconciliation, benefit calculations, gains and losses reconciliation.
  • The preparation of disclosures and accounting reports following Canadian, American, and international accounting standards.
  • Participate in the development of actuarial tools to improve efficiency.
  • Assisting consultants to help our clients with day-to-day issues and questions.

A competitive salary of $80,000-$110,000 per year reflects the importance of this role and the value we place on our employees.
