Northwood, a leading continuing care organization, is seeking a Personal Care Worker (PCW) to join our Halifax team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide personalized care to residents, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist with daily living activities, such as meal preparation and light housekeeping.
- Engage residents in leisure activities and facilitate social interactions.
- Practice safe client handling and transfer/mobilize residents as needed.
Requirements:
- Graduate of an approved PCW/CCA program with NS provincial certification.
- Current standard First-Aid and CPR certification.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills.
- Able to work flexible hours and shifts, including weekends and holidays.
