About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Meat Cutter to join our team at Tipton's Your Independent Grocer. As a key member of our meat department, you will be responsible for ensuring our customers receive high-quality meat products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and prepare meats for processing and cutting
  • Cut and trim meats to standard cuts
  • Wrap and package prepared meats
  • Remove bones from meat
  • Weigh meats for sale
  • Cut poultry into parts
  • Price meat products
  • Clean and prepare fish and shellfish
  • Sell meats to customers
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Physically demanding role requiring standing for extended periods
  • Ability to handle heavy loads and work under pressure
