Job Summary

Brandt is seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to join our team at our London Construction & Forestry location. This role involves the repair and maintenance of Forklift based equipment and attachments in a shop environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate the working condition of Forklift equipment, diagnose issues, and perform repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Use secondary materials and equipment safely and efficiently, and operate related instruments and tools.
  • Accurately document work orders, including machine information, actions taken, and time taken.
  • Assess service task hazards and ensure work is performed safely and to accepted standards.
  • Use computer applications and information systems to document maintenance, inspection, and diagnosis.
Requirements
  • Previous mechanical experience in a Forklift equipment environment is preferred.
  • Certified Journeyperson in the Heavy Duty Equipment technician trade or equivalent designated trade is preferred.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively with customers, the service team, and branch personnel.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
