Senior DevOps Engineer

Infosys is seeking a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer to join our team.

About the Role

We are looking for a talented individual to create and/or support CICD jobs using DevOps orchestration tools. The successful candidate will play a key role in creating cloud formation templates and identifying strategies to optimize or generalize the jobs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and/or support CICD jobs using DevOps orchestration tools
  • Develop cloud formation templates and optimize or generalize jobs
  • Deliver high-quality code to create infrastructure components at runtime and ensure set-up is free of vulnerabilities
  • Collaborate with the team to create a learning culture, where teamwork and collaboration are encouraged, excellence is rewarded, and diversity is respected and valued
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution
  • At least 4 years of experience in Information Technology
  • Proficient in DevOps suite of technologies and AWS Cloud core services
  • Significant experience with Windows and Linux operating system environments
  • Experience with infrastructure scripting solutions such as PowerShell or Python
  • Experience in Agile Development Methodology including Kanban and Scrum
  • Experience in analyzing Applications Logging, Performance, and Security
  • Experience in integrating CICD jobs with Sonar scans, Veracode scans, and monitoring tools
  • Good English communication skills, both written and verbal
Preferred Skills
  • Scripting Language: PowerShell, Python, Perl, Ruby, Bash
  • Configuration Management: Puppet, Chef
  • Web Servers: IIS, Apache Tomcat, Web Logic
  • Operating System: Windows, Linux, Ubuntu

The ideal candidate will be able to communicate effectively by telephone, email, or face-to-face and will be able to sit and work at a computer for extended periods of time.
