About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. As a Dozer / Track Loader Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to assist with installation and backfill of various utilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a track dozer or track loader and other heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
  • Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment.
  • Conduct routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation.
  • Regulate height and angle of a blade or bucket, and lower ripper to loosen packed soil.
  • Ensure sound understanding of ground disturbance requirements.
  • Operate equipment in successive passes over construction surface to raise or lower materials to specified grade.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience operating a dozer.
  • Knowledge of underground industry standards and OH&S requirements.
  • Class 5 Driver's License with a clean Driver's Abstract.
