About the Role:

As a skilled painter with International Globe Painting Ltd, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks including preparing surfaces, repairing cracks and holes, and applying paint and wallpaper to interior and exterior surfaces. You will also be required to estimate costs and materials, and work with clients to advise on colours and choice of wall coverings.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Prepare, clean, and sand surfaces to be painted.
  2. Repair cracks and holes.
  3. Mix paint to desired colour and texture.
  4. Measure, cut, and apply wallpaper and other fabric to walls.
  5. Advise consumers on colours and choice of wall coverings.
  6. Erect scaffolding and swing stages and attach rigging.
  7. Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials and finishes to interior and exterior surfaces.
  8. Estimate costs and materials.
  9. Work in a variety of locations, including various settings and environments.

Requirements:

  1. Secondary (high) school graduation certificate, or equivalent experience.
  2. 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in the painting industry.
  3. Ability to work at heights, and in physically demanding environments.
  4. Strong attention to detail and hand-eye co-ordination.
