Cashier Job Description

At Ontario Inc, we are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for operating a cash register, processing payments, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate a cash register and process payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional manner.
  • Monitor all entrances and exits, requesting proof of payment when necessary.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales goals and provide a positive shopping experience for customers.

Requirements:

  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Reliability and accuracy in performing tasks.
