About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lawyer to join our team at Affinity Law Professional Corp. As a key member of our corporate law team, you will be responsible for providing expert legal advice and representation to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Advise clients on their legal rights and matters related to law, including corporate law, business law, and commercial law.
  • Perform administrative functions related to the practice of law, including document preparation, research, and analysis.
  • Represent clients in court, tribunals, and boards, and negotiate settlements of civil disputes.
  • Draw up legal documents and prepare statements of legal opinion, including contracts, agreements, and other legal instruments.
  • Supervise professional staff and articling students, and provide guidance and support as needed.
  • Research legal precedents and gather evidence to support client cases.
Requirements
  • Membership in the Canadian Bar Association or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge of corporate law, business law, and commercial law.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex legal issues and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines, with a strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
