We are seeking a talented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, greeting patients, confirming prescription accuracy, and dispensing medications. You will also be involved in data entry, third-party adjudication, and inventory control.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service and greet patients
  • Confirm accuracy of all pertinent prescription information prior to filling
  • Data entry of patient care information
  • Third Party adjudication (if necessary)
  • Accurate dispensing of prescription medications
  • Maintenance of pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
  • General OTC enquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist where required
  • Handling customer prescription pick up

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you will require excellent organizational skills, detail orientation, strong communication skills, and demonstrated customer service experience. Proficient computer/data/entry skills are also essential. Flexibility to work a variety of hours, including days, evenings, night shifts, and weekends, is a must.
