Gas Bar Clerk Cashier

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team at Calgary Co-op, a leading retail co-operative in North America. As a Gas Bar Clerk Cashier, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring the smooth operation of our gas bars.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relations through effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Operate the gas bar efficiently, ensuring accurate fuel dispensing and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
- Assist with stocking and displaying merchandise, including unloading stock and supplies from suppliers' vehicles.
- Handle merchandise with care, minimizing damages and ensuring price integrity.
- Perform general clean-up duties, including cleaning spills, display fixtures, and equipment.
- Follow established Occupational Health & Safety, Food Safety, and Environmental regulations to ensure the health and safety of staff and customers.
- Assist with ordering merchandise and supplies, receiving procedures, and inventory takes.
- Grade 9 or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
- Must be 16 years of age.
- Must be fluent in English (CLBA - Canadian Language Benchmark Assessment score of 5 or higher).
- Previous retail or related experience is an asset.
