Job Title: Supervisor, Painters and Decorators

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor, Painters and Decorators to join our team at Canada Corp.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising a team of painters and decorators, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standard and on time. Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise a team of painters and decorators to ensure that all projects are completed to the highest standard and on time.
  • Coordinate and schedule activities to ensure efficient use of resources and minimize delays.
  • Oversee apprenticeship training and ensure that all team members have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed and that the work site is a safe and healthy environment for all employees.
  • Recommend personnel actions and ensure that all team members are held to the highest standards of performance and conduct.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years of experience in a supervisory role in the painting and decorating industry.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Steel-toed safety boots and other necessary personal protective equipment.
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent deadlines and changing priorities. The work site will be noisy and at heights, and the candidate must be able to work in a variety of weather conditions.
