About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Electronics Technician/ Assembly Specialist to join our team at Lockheed Martin Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing various technical tasks, including testing sub-assemblies and systems, diagnosing and repairing equipment, and implementing enterprise-wide solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform production, repair, and overhaul (R&O) tasks in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Test and diagnose equipment to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Implement and maintain enterprise-wide solutions to total system or subsystems using internally created and/or Off-The-Shelf (OTS) products
  • Analyze and identify system requirements, taking into consideration special technology needs
  • Establish functional and technical specifications and standards, solve Hardware (HW)/Software (SW) interface problems
  • Perform a variety of tasks ranging from repetitive to non-repetitive production assembly operations on electronic and/or mechanical assemblies and subassemblies
  • Work from schematics and drawings, make initial layouts, and use hand and/or power tools
Requirements:
  • Apply technical principles, theories, and concepts to complete assignments of limited scope
  • Have an understanding of Analog/digital electronics and programming of Programmable Logic Controller (PLC)'s
  • Have some knowledge of testing and repair of Information Technology (IT) networking equipment and server/desktop equipment
  • Familiar with Inter-Process Communication (IPC) standards 610 and 620. Also, Military Standards
  • Experience with Radio frequency (RF)/Microwave equipment would be an asset but not required
  • Diploma from an accredited college in an Electronic/Electrical/Mechanical Technology discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education
