We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Leadership Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our senior leadership team, you will play a critical role in driving organizational efficiency, effectiveness, and impact.

Job Summary

The Senior Leadership Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the operations of Pauktuutit, including strategic planning, governance, finance, human resources, information technology, communications, and reporting functions. This position requires a strong leader with excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, as well as experience in managing multi-disciplinary teams and functions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and oversight to operational teams, ensuring effective delivery of programs and services.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Maintain and improve governance structures, policies, and procedures.
  • Manage finances, human resources, information technology, communications, and reporting functions.
  • Foster relationships with stakeholders, including government departments, funders, community groups, and other organizations.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in a similar environment, preferably in non-profit finance and operations.
  • Experience leading multi-disciplinary teams and functions, including finance, human resources, IT, and communications.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills, with the ability to build trusting relationships with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make sound judgments.
  • Fluency in English; working knowledge of Inuktut (oral and written) is an asset.
