Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mixologist to join our team at TownePlace Suites Mississauga-Airport Corporate Centre. As a key member of our Food and Beverage team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and creating memorable experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interact with customers in a friendly and helpful manner, taking orders and serving drinks and snacks;
  • Assist in the planning and presentation of the bar menu;
  • Check identification of guests when in doubt to ensure they meet age requirements for purchase of alcohol and tobacco products;
  • Arrange the bar area to create attractive displays;
  • Assess customer needs and preferences and make recommendations;
  • Possess the ability to sell or influence others by up-selling and suggestive selling;
  • Provide recommendations and suggestions to guests;
  • Maintain liquor inventory and consumption;
  • Collect payment for drinks served and balance all receipts;
  • Prepare inventory or purchase requisitions as needed to replenish supplies;
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Exceptional customer service skills;
  • Smart Serve Certification;
  • Food Handling Certification is an asset;
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, holidays, and weekends;
  • Must be authorized to work in Canada.
