Chief Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Engineer to join our team at Silver Hotel Group. As a key member of our hotel operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and maintaining a high level of guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Facilities Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of all hotel facilities, including guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of maintenance staff to ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Guest Satisfaction: Respond to guest requests and resolve any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Preventative Maintenance: Perform regular inspections and maintenance tasks to prevent equipment failures and minimize downtime.
- Emergency Response: Respond to emergency situations, such as fire alarms and power failures, and take necessary actions to ensure guest safety.
- Inventory Management: Manage and maintain inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Reporting and Compliance: Prepare and submit reports on maintenance activities and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Technical Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a technical trade, such as electrical, plumbing, or HVAC.
- Leadership Skills: Proven leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, staff, and vendors.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Flexibility: Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Certifications and Licenses: Relevant certifications and licenses, such as OSHA or HVAC certifications.
