Cashier Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cashier to join our team at Devgon Enterprises Limited. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for providing excellent customer service and ensuring a smooth shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate Cash Register: Accurately process transactions, handle cash, credit card payments, and cheques.
  • Process Payments: Scan items, calculate total payment, and receive payment from customers.
  • Stock Shelves and Clean Counter Area: Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
  • Provide Excellent Customer Service: Greet customers, answer questions, and resolve any issues.
  • Participate in Promotional Activities: Engage with customers and promote products.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: Will train.
  • Work Setting: Restaurant, Gas Bar.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, standing for extended periods.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, excellent oral communication, flexibility.
