Job Title: Academic and Operations Officer

Alpine, a leading janitorial and building maintenance service provider, is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Operations to oversee the management of a multi-building site in the Lower Mainland. As the face of the company for the client, you will provide exceptional customer service by building meaningful relationships and maintaining client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Lead a team of Site Managers and Site Supervisors to maintain the highest standard of safety, service, and performance of employees.
  2. Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients and deal with escalated concerns and complaints.
  3. Establish effective communication channels to ensure seamless flow of communication between clients, management, and respective supervisors and team members.
  4. Conduct business reviews to ensure clients are satisfied with our service delivery.
  5. Tour sites to evaluate and direct appropriate corrective measures to address any deficiencies.
  6. Conduct research and analysis to determine operational effectiveness, capacity utilization, and operating cost containment.
  7. Develop effective coaching strategies to increase productivity and performance.
  8. Manage budget, supplies, and assets for the assigned areas.
  9. Ensure quality assurance requirements are being followed and implement innovative ideas for process improvement.
Requirements:
  1. A minimum of 5 years of hands-on business operations and account management leadership experience in a challenging and demanding work environment.
  2. A Bachelor's Degree in a related field is considered an asset.
  3. Must possess operational knowledge of the related industry (prefer previous operations management experience within the building maintenance industry).
  4. A full understanding of budgeting and costing in relation to the account, ability to implement change where areas are underperforming and take best practices from performing areas.
  5. Experience conducting quality assurance audits.
  6. Friendly, outgoing personality with excellent communication and relationship management skills.
