We are looking for a highly skilled Computer Science Specialist to join our team at Rutgers University. As a specialist, you will play a critical role in the development and maintenance of software applications that support advanced courses in computer science.

The successful candidate will have a solid background in programming languages such as Python and Java, as well as experience with web development environments like Springboot and Flask. Additionally, proficiency in Linux system administration and software engineering techniques such as version control systems and automated configuration systems is required.

In this role, you will work on projects of moderate complexity, performing significant development, design, and analysis. You will also integrate Jupyterhub with grading software, create virtual machines, and manage them using Linux facilities such as cgroups to control student resource usage.

Our ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience with at least three years of relevant work experience. A strong understanding of data science and artificial intelligence is also preferred.
