Job Title: Janitor

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team at DeeBee's Organics Inc. as a key member of our facilities maintenance team.

Job Summary:

The Janitor will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for our employees and customers. This includes sweeping, mopping, and cleaning hallways, floors, and stairs, as well as operating industrial vacuum cleaners and emptying trash cans.

Responsibilities:
  • Sweep, mop, and clean hallways, floors, and stairs
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and dirt
  • Empty trash cans and other waste containers
  • Wash windows, interior walls, and ceilings
  • Perform minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Contact contractors for repairs and maintenance of the establishment
  • Move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Work with minimal supervision
  • Clean snow and ice from walkways and parking areas
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing situations
  • Dependability and reliability
