The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Cybersecurity Analyst to join our team. As a Junior Cybersecurity Specialist, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of our Cybersecurity Concierge Solution. Your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the development and enhancement of our Cybersecurity Concierge Solution
  • Analyzing activity trends and identifying potential threats using various analytics tools and methodologies
  • Contributing to the development and fine-tuning of SIEM use cases and security control configurations
  • Performing in-depth investigations of events of interest and indicators of compromise
  • Conducting threat scenario analysis and developing new use cases and attack scenarios
  • Liaising with internal stakeholders and clients during the investigation process
  • Collaborating with the senior team to develop hunt tactics and stay current on developments in the cyber threat landscape
  • Creating monthly cybersecurity reports and maintaining an up-to-date document repository

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A recent Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a relevant field, such as Computer Science or Information Security
  • Foundational knowledge of threat intelligence and threat hunting
  • Strong analytical and investigative skills
  • Knowledge of technical security controls and mitigations
  • Good working knowledge of one or more of the following topics: Common security threats, industry best practices, security technologies

Preferred Qualifications

We prefer candidates with:

  • At least 2 years of working experience in incident response or threat hunting, ideally in a CIRT
  • At least 2 years of working experience as a SOC analyst
