Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage a team of production staff, including direct supervision of senior supervisors and production supervisors.
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, respect, and inclusivity among all employees.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer satisfaction.
- Monitor and analyze production metrics, including quality, safety, and productivity, to identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, health and safety, maintenance, and finance, to ensure seamless operations.
- Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, and reports to ensure accurate financial planning and decision-making.
- Identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement, including process improvements and cost savings initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
- Relevant post-secondary education in a field such as business, engineering, or operations management.
- 7+ years of experience in a management role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong focus on quality, safety, and productivity.
- Strong financial acumen, with the ability to manage budgets and forecasts.
