Job Title: Registered Nurse

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at River Glen Haven Nursing Home. As a Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the overall well-being of our residents.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing patients' conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery. You will also be responsible for administering medications, performing medical procedures, and providing education to patients and their families.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop individualized care plans to meet those needs.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to treatment.
  • Perform medical procedures, such as injections and wound care, and provide education to patients and their families.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure seamless care delivery and make referrals to other healthcare professionals as needed.
  • Document patients' progress and maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Requirements:
  • Current registration with the provincial or territorial nursing regulatory body.
  • Valid Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
