We are seeking a highly skilled Mortgage Fulfilment Specialist to join our team at McNeill Nakamoto Recruitment Group. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth flow of all loan fundings, both commercial and residential.
Key Responsibilities- Loan Processing: Manage files throughout the entire loan process, including reviewing appraisal documentation, notices of assessments, strata minutes, financial statements, and all other funding-related conditions.
- Broker Liaison: Work closely with referring brokers via email and phone to request solicitors, funding conditions, and any additional information required.
- Due Diligence: Review all due diligence documentation with brokers to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Compliance: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance requirements and all aspects of the mortgage portfolios.
- Documentation: Review and organize documentation from brokers and solicitors, prepare commitment letters and disclosure documents as needed.
- Funding Coordination: Ensure mortgage fundings are processed in accordance with approval and conditions, prior to the advance of funds.
- Communication: Maintain high service levels and timely communication with brokers, borrowers, solicitors, and other external parties involved.
- Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Ensure complete accuracy when reviewing, updating, and auditing all files.
- Collaboration: Liaise with internal staff in a collaborative manner to achieve team goals.
- Reporting: Generate and prepare reports as required.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role working with mortgages.
- Certification: Completion of sub-mortgage broker course is highly desirable; otherwise, this will be a completion requirement within the first year of employment.
- Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with various internal and external parties, including mortgage brokers, borrowers, and solicitors.
- Attention to Detail: High attention to detail and accuracy with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Technical Skills: Strong proficiency in MS Office Suite and overall aptitude with computer software and programs.
- Time Management: Ability to prioritize, work independently, multi-task, and work well under pressure.
- Team Player: Outstanding team player with a can-do attitude.
